Three recent joomchi printed works from my Tallgrass Impressions project and a small work from my Tallgrass Sampler Series on muslin will be exhibited in a benefit group art show for the Friends of the Konza Prairie.   Work by artists, who reflect on the Flint Hills, is showcased in this annual juried event in Kansas City.

Visions of the Flint Hills will have a virtual reception on Friday, October 2 from 3-4PM (MT) via zoom click here to link.

The Buttonwood Art Space is located at

3013 Main Street in Kansas City. Click here for online exhibition.

Art sales benefit Friends of Konza Prairie (FOKP), a friends group of Kansas State University. FOKP promotes educational research and experiences in the Konza Prairie Biological Station, an area of the Flint Hills just south of Manhattan, Kansas. The 8,600 acre Konza Prairie and the surrounding Flint Hills region contain the largest remaining parcels of the Tallgrass Prairie that once covered 140 million acres in North America.
